Biography

Samuel was born in 1869. [1] He was the son of Eli Garber and Elizabeth Yount. The 1870 and 1880 census information shows him living with his parents and siblings in Augusta County, Virginia. [2][3]In about 1895 he married Margaret Elizabeth Pence. The 1900 census shows him living with his wife and children in Augusta County, Virginia, engaged in farming. [4] Samuel passed away in 1909. [5]
