Abraham was born in 1843 [1] to Abraham Garber and his wife Elizabeth Stover. Though born in Tennessee in about 1843, by 1850 the family is enumerated on the federal census in Logan County, Ohio. [2] The family's stay in Ohio did not last long. By 1860 they are enumerated on the federal census in Greene County, Tennessee. [3] Abraham married Anna Eliza Miller in 1865. [4] In 1870 and 1880, the couple is enumerated on the federal census in Greene County, Tennessee. [5][6] Sometime prior to 1895 Abraham and his wife moved to Kansas. [7] Abraham passed away there in 1910. Though he died in Overbrook, Osage County, Kansas, [8][9]
