He disembarked with his wife Eliza, 38, can read; daughter Elizabeth, 15; daughter Harriett, 12; son George, 10; daughter Susan, 8; son William, 5; and daughter Davina (?), 1. Most of the children can read, but only son George can read and write. Also onboard the Malvina Vidal from South Petherton were John and Susan Elliott and their 4 children, and another family.
