Note

Note: A record of the Hayden Family gives Charity Gard without John Hayden as having been the daughter of John and Hannah Gard. Margie Gray says she never found any record of a John and Hannah Gard of that time period. It is however
strange that we have not found a record of any brothers other than Daniel b. 1707 and Jeremiah b. 1716, surely there were others.
Margie Gard Gray also says the one old printed record states our Gard ancestor was a John Gard bord circa 1683 in Ireland and came to Connecticut about 1705, married a girl of German parentage.
