Gardere Jr., Arsene Gardere, Darrell Gardere, Eric Gardere and Kimberly Ann Gardere, all of Oakland, loving son of Nicholas and Marie Gardere of Oakland; loving brother of Nicholas Gardere Jr., Evella Mutchler, both of Oakland, Curtis Gardere of Richmond, Sylvia Offner of San Leandro, Harold Gardere of Richmond, Juanita Escovedo of Hayward; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A native of Louisiana; aged 37 years. A member of the Teamster's Union, Local No. 79 of Oakland.
Friends are invited to attend services from the Telegraph Avenue Chapel of Grant Miller Mortuaries, 2850 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, Saturday, September 30, at 8:30 a.m.; thence to St. Andrews Church where a Requiem Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul, commencing at 9 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary, Friday, at 8 p.m., in the Mortuary Chapel.
