Biography
She is noticed in source material when she marries, prior to mid 1481, Alexander Burnet, of Leys. They receive, from his father on 28 May, a grant to both of Canneglerocht, a part of the Leys estate.[1] Janet is said to have been a daughter of Gardine of that Ilk, a family in Angus.
