Hi James,

Thank you for suggesting the merge between Heefner-4 and Huffner-23. I am all for it but feel it is important to maintain the German spelling of the name for research purposes. My source for the proper spelling of last and middle names is: International Marriage Records, 1560-1900 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations Inc, 2004. Thank you for looking into this before we complete the merge! D.

Good morning! Thank you for your updated information on the Walkers. I think I approved your merges correctly, but I am new to this process so I might have left something undone. Let me know if I need to do more.

Thank you for proposing the McConnell merges. If you are related to this family, we are probably "cousins".

James I will put the info I find on Mary's profile as research notes for you to review. I have epilepsy among other things. I can't seem to be able to add sources. There are records of his wife Alice Sheppard being his 3rd wife and Mary Dunstan and Mary Sheppard being the same person , I don't think they are. You know how that goes. The thing that happens with the name Mary Alice in any of these women makes me nuts. Sometimes they are Mary sometimes the are Alice.

Hi James. Robert Sheppard's marriage to Elisabeth Spencer produce 4 children. Of the 4 of Elizabeth's children only Anne produced children. The marriage of Robert and Prisilla produced children who did have children. Based on marriage dates of Mary Sheppard and James , she would have been James' second wife after the death of Mary Dunstan. The year before James died. I will try to add the sources to Mary Sheppard. I am ill but I will get to it this weekend.

Hi James , can you tell me why you removed James Riddick as spouse for Mary Sheppard. I have them as being married on April 20, 1689 in Nasamond, Virginia. Thanks.
