1. ) There was another Dorcas Gardiner born in Rhode Island about the same time; Robinson does not supply a birth date for her, but notes that she was married to James Clarke on 19 Nov 1760. Dorcas Gardiner was the daughter of Nathaniel and Sarah Pierce Gardiner and married James Clarke.
