Biography

Joanna Gardiner was born 25 Jan 1656/57, a daughter of Thomas Gardner and Lucy (Smith) Gardiner of Roxbury, Massachusetts. Joanna, daughter of Thomas Gardiner, was baptised on 25 January 1656/7 in Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States.^[1]

Joannah married Robert Stanton on 12 September 1677 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, United States.^[2]

She married 12 Sep 1677 at Stonington, Connecticut, Robert Stanton, son of Thomas and Anna (Lord) Stanton. They lived at Pawcatuck, east of Stonington.^[3] They had 8 children:
