Blanche Van Rensselaer Gardiner was born in 1885, in Orange county, New York, a daughter of Emmet Van Rensselaer Gardiner and Emma A. (Mapes) Gardiner. Blanche married Robert T. Ketcham on June 29, 1911. [1]
Blanche (Gardiner) Ketcham is a member of the Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution. [2] She cites her Revolutionary War veteran ancestor as Captain Nathaniel Elmer, (DAR Ancestor #A038104) her maternal second great-grandfather.
