You've been here for three weeks now! We hope your profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know all of us a little better. You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. Thanks for joining us! Im David, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree yesterday?
I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?
David ~ Wiki Mentor
Since WikiTree is different from other sites, we have a guided tour to help members learn their way around. The first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.
I'm happy to answer questions. Tomorrow, another mentor will check by to see if you need help, and we'll post weekly messages after that.
To meet other WikiTreers, check out our G2G forum and this week's Question of the Week: Do you have any heroic volunteers in your branch?

A warm welcome to the WikiTree family! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used and it is FREE. WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.
Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and youll be on your way!
Were really glad youre here. More importantly, have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest.
Ludwig :)
