Biography
Becky was Choctaw.
Becky was born between 1810 and 1820. She passed away after 1850 and likely prior to 1885.[citation needed]
Very little is known about her. However, when her daughter Malissa enrolled with the Dawes Commission she listed her parents as:[1]

This enrollment provides a source for her name and also indicating her decease occurs prior to 1896. The listing of Towson County indicates she was from a Choctaw family, otherwise the field would contain the note "Non-Citizen".
In 1832 several Gardner families traveled the Trail of Tears to the new Choctaw Nation, including Rebecca, her parents and siblings.[2]
