I am uncertain as to his parents. FamilySearch has a tree that shows Jacob Gardner or Jeremiah and (Mary) Molly McAnallen.
Ancestry shows Benjamin Gardner Gardner-12864 and Molly Tirrell Tirrell-455. At this point I am removing them as his parents due to: birth locations (John was born in PA while all other children for Benjamin and Molly were born in MA)
