Biography

Oliver was born in 1895. He was the son of Richard Gardner and Catherine Kennard. He is living with his parents in the censuses for 1900 in Detroit, 1910 in Buffalo, and 1920 in New York City.^[1]

Oliver attended the Culver Military Academy. He was variously a iron worker (1917), a bond salesman (1920), and a business executive for an smelting company (1923).

Oliver married Louise S. born in 1911.^[2] Oliver and Louise had a son Richard born in the early 1940's.^[3]

Oliver passed away in 1981^[4]
