Biography
Celestia was born on February 16, 1835.
Sometime around 1910 her and her husband moved to Springfield to move in with their daugther Anna Jackson. That home at 61 Mill St. is no longer standing. They were recorded in the 1910 Census.
When her husband died in 1912, they were living at 96 Willow St. This residence is no longer standing.
She passed away on April 9th, 1913 of Mitrial Heart Valve Insufficiency at the Springfield Poor's Hospital (Almshouse). She was widowed by her husband, who died the year prior. At the time of her death, she had been living at 179 William St. This residence is no longer standing, and was torn down sometime before 1957. [1]
