Biography

Sarah Jane Gardner was born in 1815 in New Jersey, USA. She was the daughter of Theophilus Gardner and Hannah Smith.

Notes: Per family history, Sarah was married to John Taylor.

On 4 December 1857 Sarah (age about 42) was living in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.[2] In the 1860 census Sarah (age about 45) was living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.[3] In the 1870 census Sarah (age about 55) was living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Post Office: Philadelphia.[4] On 18 October 1874 Sarah (age about 59) was living in Frankford, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.[5]In the 1880 census Sarah (age about 65) was living in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Marital status: Married; Relation to Head of House: Wife.[6]

Sarah Taylor died at the age of about 66 after 1881 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[7] She was buried on 28 March 1895 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, United States of America.[8]
