Biography
John Gardner Jr. descends from Tristram Coffin Sr, a Nantucket founder.
John Gardner, Jr. was born 6 November 1722 to John Gardner and Priscilla Coffin. He married Mary Coffin, daughter of Josiah and Elisabeth Coffin, in 1745. He married Betsey Coffin, daughter of Henry Coffin and Mary Woodbury, about 1785. He married Jedida Swain, daughter of Peleg Swain and Mary Hussey, after 1803. He died on 23 January 1812 at age 89.
