Biography

Herbert Gardner was born in Middlesex on March 14, 1848 to Edward Bensley Gardner and Martha Harrington. He migrated to Australia where he married Mary Emma Little on January 14, 1875, in Scone, New South Wales. They had seven children in 21 years. He died on January 30, 1920, in Burwood, New South Wales, at the age of 71.
