Biography

Catherine was born in 1804. Catherine Gardner is the daughter of Silvany Gardner and the wife of Elisha Dodson (see her marriage record below). She passed away in 1861. Her husband passed away in 1875.^[1]

Note: Regarding Possible parents The official marriage record (listed) below for Catherine and Elisha indicates her mother was "Silvany Gardner" but that is believed to be incorrect. It is believed that Silvany Gardner was her father (she named a son after him) and he married her mother; Elizabeth Weldon in January of 1785^[2]
