Biography
William was born about 1850 in Pennsylvania. Both of his parents were born in Germany: father from Darmstadt and mother from Saxony.
He married Anna Bolje, also a child of German-born parents. They had three children: Charles (1874), Margaret (1875), and Luella (1878).
In 1880, William worked for the On City Fire Department and lived in Allegheny (current North Shore Pittsburgh), Allegheny County, Pennsylvania with his wife Annie (28), children Carl (6), Margaretha (4), and Louelia (2), the Schoff family, the Keep family, and Sophia Vetter. [1]
He died between 1880 and 1900.
