Biography
Sophie Gareau was born Feb. 17, 1830 at St-Ours and was baptized there the next day. She was the third child and second daughter of Jacob Gareau and Marie Catherine Labossiere. Her older sister had died as an infant the previous year. It is not known when or where Sophie died, but it is expected that she had passed away before or about 1920.
