Biography
This profile is part of the Buxton, Maine One Place Study.
John Garland kept the "Garland Tavern" at Buxton Old Corner. His widow continued the business after his death.
Listed in 1790 Census, York 59 Buxton, one son under 16 and four daughters.
John was born about 1734. He was the son of Thomas Garland and Elizabeth Moulton. He passed away about 1826. [1]
