Birth and Childhood

William Garland (Pring) was the son of William Garland (Pring) (c.1786-1850) and Sarah James (c.1799-1866). He was born circa 1821 at Wilton, Taunton, Somerset and was baptised on 25 Nov 1821 (as William Pring) at Wilton, Somerset. [1]

William was one of eleven children:

Marriage and Family

William married Elizabeth Dring (c.1816-c.1864) [26] at Taunton, Somerset on 17 May 1842. [27]

William and Elizabeth Dring had six children:
