Praxcy Ann Garlick was born in New York State in 1857. She was the eldest of five children born to David Garlick and Lydia Duel.
The 1870 census places her as a 13 year old living with her parents and four younger siblings in Burnside, Trempealeau, Wisconsin. [1]
In 1874, aged 17, she married Charles Frederick Grayburn, a recent immigrant from Yorkshire. [2]
Charles and Praxcy had five children: Edwin (1876); Edith (1882); William Harland (1888); Jennie (1892); and Charles (1893).
She passed away in 1921, aged 64. She is buried in Missoula. [3]
