Biography

Charles was born about 1884. He is the son of Charles Garlick.

In 1901, Charles Garlick (39 b Coventry, Warwickshire), a Builder's Manager, was head of household at All Saint's Coventry. Also present were his wife Jane E Garlick (36 b Coventry, Warwickshire) and children Charles Garlick (16 b Coventry, Warwickshire), Harry Garlick (14 b Coventry, Warwickshire), Ethel Garlick (11 b Coventry, Warwickshire), Horace Garlick (9 b Coventry, Warwickshire). Also present was a servant Emily Ward (16 b Coventry, Warwickshire).

In 1911, Charles Garlick (49 b Coventry, Warwickshire), a Builder and Contractor, was head of household at Coventry St Thomas. Also present were his wife Jane Elizabeth Garlick (46 b Coventry, Warwickshire) and children Charles Garlick (26 b Coventry, Warwickshire), a Building Trade Assistant, William Henry Garlick (24 b Coventry, Warwickshire), a Motor Work Draughtsman, Ethel Garlick (21 b Coventry, Warwickshire), a School Teacher, Horace Isaac Garlick (19 b Coventry, Warwickshire), a Building Trade Clerk Accountant, and Muriel Garlick (9 b Coventry, Warwickshire).
