Esaias Prophet Garman was born on 23 September 1838 in Sinking Spring, Highland, Ohio, United States, son of Daniel Garman (1802–1871) and Cynthia Smith (1813–1854).[1]
In 1880, Esaias (41) was living in Burr Oak, Jewell, Kansas. [3]
Esaias and Tabitha Jane Ashlock were married on 5 September 1887 in Cheyenne, Nebraska, United States.[4] Tabitha was born on 1 April 1870 in Terre Haute, Harrison Township, Vigo, Indiana, United States. Their children were:

Esaias and Rebecca Elizabeth Schlotman were married in 1907. Rebecca was born on 3 December 1839 in Mifflinburg, Union, Pennsylvania, United States.
Esaias died on 4 April 1918 in Burr Oak, Jewell, aged 79. He was buried in Burr Oak Cemetery, Burr Oak, Jewell County, Kansas.[1]
