Biography

Gerald Garman was born in Akron, Ohio on December 3, 1912 to Charles Garman and Julia (Billings) Garman. He was the middle of three sons born to the couple.

Gerald was raised in Akron, Ohio. In his teens, he delivered newspapers. He was working as a repairman for the Enterprise Manufacturing Company in his 20s.

On June 18, 1938 Gerald married Anita Patterson in Summit County, Ohio. The young couple lived with her parents in their homes in Talmadge, Ohio. It is not known at this time if Gerald and Anita had children.

Gerald passed away in Akron, Ohio on February 9, 1970. He was 57 years old. He is buried in Glendale Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
