Biography

Birth

Cathrine Gern (aka Garn) was born on 15 June 1776 in Frederick County, Province of Maryland, and baptized at the Evangelical Reformed Church in Frederick County, Maryland on 27 May 1777. She was the daughter of Johannes Gern and Margaret Seyn.^[1][2]

Marriage

Catharina Garn married Peter Mock, and is identified as "Catharine Mock," the wife of Peter, in a Bedford County land transaction on 5 November 1808 resolving claims relating the disposition of her father's estate.^[3][4]

Death

Catharina Mock died on 4 June 1856 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, and is buried at the Peter Mock Graveyard in Bedford County.^[5]
