Hello everyone - although she was baptized in Maryland, after I cleaned up the profile for the project yesterday it became apparent that Catherine and her family's primary connection is to Pennsylvania, so I plan to remove the US Southern Colonies Project as a co-manager. It may not be necessary but if anyone believes that project protection is still appropriate for this profile, the Pennsylvania Project is probably the correct project to be involved.

The sourced list of children on this profile is based on Garn's profile for her in The Garn Family -- there are several children attached who are not included in that profile, and for which there is no source cited. Is anyone aware of a reliable source for these additional children?

Carn-39 and Garn-128 are not ready to be merged because: No proof-positive which is the correct surname, Carn or Garn.

I found an index on ancestry that may indicate her parents. The date of birth is a few days off but the parents match as John and Margaret Gern. They are who I have given to my family as research. The only concern I have is the travel to Frederick, Maryland from Bedford to christen her but it was a german lutheran reformed church and is quite possible the closest one.

Carn-39 and Garn-128 appear to represent the same person because: Reproposing this previously unmatched merge. These are clearly the same person. Her LNAB is Garn. Both profiles have Sources indicating Garn as LNAB.

Carn-39 and Garn-128 appear to represent the same person because: same husband, sources indicate that her name was Gern/Garn, not Carn
