Biography

Erma Lyle Garneau was born^[1] to Arthur Artimus and Mary (Case) Garneau^[2] November 27, 1898 in Drayton, Ontario, Canada. Her two brothers, Artimus and Vance were 4 and 2 years old respectively at the time. Three years later, her sister Olive May was born^[3].

On Christmas day in 1920, Erma married^[2] William 'Gordon' Mills, son of Arthur and Josephine (Armstrong) Mills in Hamilton, Ontario.

Erma passed away in Lachine, Quebec on her birthday in 1989 and is buried^[4] beside her husband Gordon in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec.
