Biography

William was born June 2nd 1903 in Washington DC. In 1920, at the age of 16, he is living with his sister, Annie McNamara and her family. By 1930 he is a painter, living with his brother Harry, mother Rose, and his sisters Rosie and Catherine. The 1940 census has him as a patient at St. Elizabeth Hospital, in Washington DC.

William died August 20th 1995, at the age of 92, in DC. His name is engraved on Harry’s headstone at Congressional with a birth date of 1903 but no death date. There is a good chance he is not buried there.
