Viola Garner is a part of US Black heritage.

Viola was born about 1886. She was the daughter of Sandy Garner and Callie Johnson.

In the 1900 census, Viola is the daughter of Sandy and Callie Garner, Black Female born January 1886, single, age 14. She attends school and can read, write, and speak English. The family lives in Heth township, Harrison county, Kentucky.[1]

She died of pulmonary tuberculosis on March 26, 1905 and is buried in Collins Chapel Cemetery, Harrison county, Indiana. [2]
