Biography

John Blease, bachelor & labourer, and Nancy Garner, spinster, were married by Banns on 13 Sep 1813 at the Collegiate Church in Manchester, Lancashire [now Manchester Cathedral] - the witnesses were Joseph Baxter & Is Chantler.^[1]

John and Nancy had at least five children:

1. William Blease (1814-1883)
2. Joshua Blease (1816-)
3. John Blease (1819-)
4. Sarah Blease (1822-)
5. Isaac Blease (1826-)

• These five were baptised in Ringway, Cheshire - their place of abode was listed as either Ringway or Hale, and John's occupation was recorded as labourer, day labourer, or husbandman.

Nancy Blease was buried in Bowdon, Cheshire on 16 March 1835, she was 52 years old, and her home address was in Ringway. ^[2]
