Hannah Gannet was born 29 March 1702 at Scituate Massachusetts Bay. Her father was Matthew Gannett (1685-1736)^[1] Her mother was probably not Mary (Bacon) Gannett (1687-1713) as Mary did not marry Matthew Gannett until 1708^[2]

Hannah married Thomas Parris of Pembroke Massachusetts Bay^[3],
