Biography

Pierre Grenier was born on 24 Mar 1705 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Nocholas parish, Nouvelle-France. He was the son of Étienne Grenier and his wife Marie Françoise Bergeron. Godparents at Pierre's baptism were Pierre Lauber and Marguerite Bergeron. At age 28, Pierre married Marie-Madeleine Rognon on 9 Feb 1733 in Saint-François-de-Sales parish in Neuville. At age 45 he married second wife Marie Louise Devis on 9 Feb 1750, also in Saint-François-de-Sales parish in Neuville.
