Biography
Gertrude Garrard, daughter of William Waters Garrard and Frances Isabella (Urquhart) Garrard, was born on 28 March 1852 in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia.[1]
She married Jasper Walton Harris Jr., son of James Walton Harris Sr. and Martha (Watkins) Harris, on 23 April 1873 at Muscogee, Georgia.[2][1]
She was a widow when she appeared on the census of 7 June 1900 at Jackson Ward 1, Hinds, Mississippi.[3]
Gertrude died on 26 March 1928 at El Dorado, Union County, Arkansas and was buried at Linwood Cemetery, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia. Her memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[1]
