Edward Rupert Emmerson Garraway (1897-1917)
Edward Rupert Emmerson Garraway was born in 1897 at Drummoyne, New South Wales, Australia. He was the only son of Harold Garraway and Maria Willans. 
Edward's occupation was an articled clerk with a law firm.
Edward served with the Australian Imperial Force (A.I.F.) during World War 1. He enlisted on 08 October 1916. He served with the 12th Australian Light Trench Mortar Battery. During the Battle of Passchendaele, at Belgium, Edward was killed in action by a shell on 14 October 1917. 
GARRAWAY. —Killed in action in France, October 14, 1917, Gunner F. R. F. Garraway, aged 19. only son of Mr and Mrs Harold Garroway of Zeta , Chatswood, N.S.W. and the nephew of Mr A. H. Garraway, of Moss Vale.
Edward Garraway is an Anzac who served in World War One.
