Research Notes
Some records indicate that John Garretson married Tamar Hammond. Notes in one of the Quaker records list their children as: William born 23- 5-1779 died 12- 8-1840 in OH , married Elizabeth Sleigle; Aaron born 6- 2-1782; Sarah born 29-11-1785 John Jr born 20- 1-1788; and Nathan born 19- 4-1789.[3] This list does not match the list in his will and he needs further research to determine which set of children is his.
