Biography

Alvin (Dock) Garrett was born on March 12, 1884, in Tennessee, his father, Thomas, was 35 and his mother, Nancy, was 32. He married Ava (Ova) Anne Stover on May 22, 1908, in Overton, Tennessee. He then married Dora M Abston and they had six children together. He died on January 24, 1950, in his hometown at the age of 65, and was buried in Mayland, Tennessee.
