Biography
The Montgomery Advertiser on 10 Jun 1900, Sunday, printed an article listing those who are from Alabama. Here in the list is Rev. J. M. Garrett, Carrollton, Georgia, which he must have been visiting when he died, but his home was in Edwardsville, Cleburne, Alabama. [1]
They married 7 Oct 1869 in Carroll County, Georgia and the record is found in Georgia Marriage Records, Carroll County, 1818-1978.
James was born in 1851.
