Martha was born in 1906 to Walter Garrett and Emily Walton. She is a great x3 granddaughter of Leonard M Garrett, Revolutionary War veteran and progenitor of this Garrett line.
Before her 4th birthday, her family moved from Arkansas to Oklahoma, where she spent the rest of her life. Martha married Charles Oscar Hinds at age 24, and passed away in 1987 at 80 years old.
