William was born June 12, 1874 in Justin, Denton County, Texas. He was the son of William Garrett and Frances Newman.
Both William and his sister Mary Garrett Stark have their date of birth as 1874. They were born in different months so not twins. I'm not sure which one was actually born in 1874.
He passed away October 28, 1917 in Ponder, Denton, Texas. [1] William was laid to rest in Eakins Cemetery, Ponder, Denton, Texas, United States. [2]
Research Notes
William Porter Garrett and his sister Mary both give 1874 as their year of birth on the 1900 census and both of their death information has 1874. They are born on a different day and month so not twins.
