Biography

James was born about 1829. He passed away in 1863 at DeCamp General Hospital, Davids Island, NY of a gunshot wound sustained at the Battle of Gettysburg. He was a Corporal in the 59th Georgia Infantry, Company C. He enlisted May 1862 in Butler, GA.
