Biography

Laurence Garrick, son of Laurence Garrick and Catherine Jameson / Jamieson, was born on 11 May 1873 in Sandsting and Aithsting, Shetland, Scotland.^[1][2]

In 1881 Laurence, age 7, was the son of Laurence Garrick in Tresta, Sandsting and Aithsting, Shetland. He was a Scholar.^[3]

In 1891 Lawrince, age 17, was the son of Catherine Garriock in Tresta, Sandsting and Aithsting, Shetland. He was a Crofter Son.^[4]

Lawrence came to the United States leaving Glasgow, Scotland on 16 Apr 1896, arriving in New York 28 Apr 1896 on the Ethiopia.

He married Laura Eloise before 1905.

In 1905 Lawrence, age 29y, was the head of household in Binghamton, Ward 08, E.D. 01, Broome, New York.^[5]
