Jane was born in 1813. She was the daughter of Caleb Garrison, Sr. and Sarah Jane Fleming. Married first to Edward C. Cosper on June 10, 1830, Carroll County, Georgia. Ed was the son of Rev. Henry Cosper and Martha Elizabeth Knapp Cosper, b. Oct. 5, 1812. They had one daughter:
Emily Caroline Cosper Hamilton
Ed Cosper died on April 2, 1831 after he was thrown from a horse. Their daughter Emily was just a few weeks old.
Jane Cosper married Hezekiah Frost on Aug. 22, 1832 in Carroll County, Georgia. They had two children:
Sarah Harriet Frost Mize/Blackmon (b. 1833)
George Frost (1835-1861)
Hezekiah Frost enlisted on Nov. 19, 1835 into Capt. Pickens' Company, and was killed in the Massacre of Goliad on March 26, 1836.
Jane Frost married Rev. Daniel Walter Ross on April 8, 1841 in Paulding County, Georgia. They had eight children; three died in childhood:
