Biography

Helen was born in 1926, a daughter and youngest of six children of Willie Garrison and Annie Duke. She died in 2010 and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, Georgia.^[1]

BARNETTE, Helen Mrs. Helen Barnette, age 84, of Riverdale passed away Monday, December 20, 2010. She was a member of Heatherwood Baptist Church and retired from the Clayton County School System. She was preceded in death by husband William Dozier Barnette and son William Robert "Bob" Barnette. She is survived by daughter-in-law; Lynn Barnette of Jonesboro, granddaughter; Ashley Barnette of Marietta and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Lowe officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.
