Bondsman for the marriage of his brother-in-law, Elijah Pedigo aand Frances (Harper) Meredith.
Possibly a son of Shadrach Garrison. From Catherine (Prophit) Demers:
Shadrach GARRISON posted the bond for the 1815 Barren Co. KY marriage of Benjamin GARRISON, son of RWS James + Ester (Roberts) GARRISON, to Susannah King. Under Shadrach's signature on the bond document, he wrote the words "his Oncle". Thus, it appears that Shadrack GARRISON may have been a brother of RWS James GARRISON.

(note a Mark Garrison and RWS James Garrison are found in Warren Co KY. Mark has 3 sons and 3 daughters and an older couple live in his household... probably his wife's parents. Shadrach had 3 sons and 3 daughters at the time of the 1810 U.S. CENSUS and on the 1820 census an older female lived in his home, probably his wife's mother...see below.)

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:
