Biography
Richard , son of Thomas Garrold and Elizabeth Meats , was baptized at Bolstone 22nd August 1833 .
Of Kilforge House nr Ross .
He married MARY JANE COOKE , daughter of Thomas Cooke of Brook House , King's Pyon , at King's Church , King's Pyon , in 1867 . Following Mary's death aged just 34yrs , he remarried to CECILLIA MARY DAVIES , the eldest daughter of John Davies , M.D. and J.P. of Hillside House , at Christ Church , Ebbw Vale in 1876 .
He died aged 66yrs in Hereford in 1900.
