Biography
George Garth was born on 09 Nov 1830 in Sandy Bay. He was the son of Edward Garth [1], farmer and Ann (Bellette) Garth (abt.1798-1896). He was baptised on 12th June 1831. [2]
Reason for no Death date
It is unclear if this George Garth died George Garth aged 13 years and was buried on 12 Aug 1833 in Sorell. [3] or he was the George Garth that married Ellen Fitzpatrick (1835-1896) in 1853 [4] Both of these death entries do not mention the parent's names.
If he was the George Garth that married Ellen Fitzpatrick in 1853 - They had 11 children. He died 1914 in Hobart, Tasmania.[5]
