Biography

In Taunton, January 9, 2008 Dorothy P. Garvin of Kilmer Ave, died at Taunton Nursing Home after a brief illness at the age of 82. She was born and raised in the city of Taunton and was the daughter of the late James E. and Marcellena (Kenyon) Garvin. Dorothy worked at Texas Instruments in the Computer Department for over thirty years. She was a Taunton High Graduate class of 1943 Dorothy loved to work in her yard. Dorothy was the sister of Jean M. Garvin of Taunton and the late James Garvin Jr. Aunt of Mary Shea of Florida. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday January 12th at 9 am. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church in Taunton at 10 am. Interment St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
