Nicholas Gascoigne of Lasingcroft, Yorkshire (b. c. 1357/8 - dead in 1428)
Biography
Nicholas is the second son of William Gascoigne of Gawthorpe. He married Mary, daughter of Hugh Clitheroe and widow of John, son of Sir Richard Tempest. Their marriage is dated between 1392 and 1397. They are the parents of:
- Nicholas
- Thomas
- John of Lasingcroft (d. 1445; bur. Barwick church)
- Elizabeth (d. bef. 1443)
- m. Anthony St. Quinton of Harpham (d. 1443)
- Margaret
- m. Thomas Arderne of Marton, near Bridlington (d. 1455)
